About The Puppy Mill TruckThe suffering dogs in an actual puppy mill are kept well hidden by the puppy millers. Our Puppy Mill Truck exposes their operations to the public in hopes of putting an end to their cruelty. |

About PuppyMillTruck.comI first found out about puppy mills in 2008. I just could not fathom that it would be legal to lock a dog in a cage for its entire life and make it produce puppies as fast and as often as physically possible.
I thought to myself, how absurd and perverted could a person possibly be to do something like that. I also found out that pet stores get their puppies from puppy mills and that most of the “pet” ads in the newspapers, craigslist, other publications, and thousands of websites promote these sick puppies from puppy mills..
Many food animals are certainly raised and kept in inhumane and cruel conditions also, and many folks choose not to consume animal products for this and other reasons.
Dogs should not be treated this way for any reason. Dogs serve people in very personal ways, for example, helping the visually-impaired population. Dogs have saved human lives in a myriad of ways, as well as provide companionship.
All dogs certainly deserve to be treated humanely and with respect, and when the need arises to end the life of a dog, it needs to be done reverently.
This kind of breed-and-slaughter wholesale dog killing operation we have now, operating legally, in the United States is appalling and must be stopped. Below is a collection of YouTube Videos. |
Join the PuppyMill Truck CrusadeI began by picketing pet stores, and while doing this, I thought that there had to be a more effective way of getting the attention of the public, the media, and lawmakers as well. I wanted to create a way that when I drove by, people wouldn’t forget so quickly the reason for our protest.
Today, as I come into contact with new people, people who are inquisitive about my Puppy Mill Truck, I rely on donations to help fuel my efforts (pardon the pun) so that I can take my truck from town to town, in neighborhoods, cities—basically anywhere I can to make an impact and create awareness.

Puppy Mills are an affront to any legitimate business. The fact that these businesses make a profit from the horrific abuse and deliberate overpopulating of the American pet is a national outrage. |

Animal Abuse, Puppy Mill Seizures and Neglect happens everywhere. These photos are provided by Pet Rescue by Judy, an all-breed rescue that is inundated with pets who have been owner-surrendered, confiscated through Puppy Mill Seizures, and rescued by thousands of Kill-shelters throughout the nation. The Puppy Mills are still running rampant in the State of Florida, and throughout the Southeastern states. |

“I come at the issue from the perspective that whenever you can cost someone business (pet stores, pet shops, puppy mills, and dog farms), it weakens them and makes it more and more difficult for them to keep going.....if enough people become aware and stop getting dogs from stores and mills, there will be much less of them as well as a "terrible stigma" attached to operating or being involved in any way with such a thing.......No, there is no federal law against puppy mills but many states are cracking down on them......the more awareness there is the more people will demand something be done..........right now in Wisconsin we are trying to get a law passed where you need to be licensed and inspected if you sell 25 dogs in a year....this will put a cramp on the mills........I see public awareness as the most important thing to get the mills stopped.” Jim Long |
